Promo display box case study
THE BRIEF
To produce a fold out box with a product display in each of the window recesses which would be revealed on the unfolding of the display.
The client supplied Opus with a visual of how the proposed display should look and with the finished product to be used in each display.
The client also requested that the material to be used was environmentally sourced and that the display would need a premium look and feel.
THE CONCEPT
A cube-shaped box that opens out to present the product prominently. The unfolding mechanism is smooth and intuitive. The concept design allows for maximum visibility of the product from different angles.

PROTOTYPES
A white prototype was produced using the chosen substrates to assess how the unfolding mechanism would operate and how well the product sat in the window recesses. During this research and development stage, all abnormalities were corrected and resolved internally before releasing the cutter guide for our client’s artwork.
A fully printed prototype was then produced and product loaded for final client approval.

PRODUCTION
40 units were produced, fully assembled and product loaded. Each individual display was packed into a bespoke outer mailer and delivered as per our client’s request.
